Pain Association of Singapore
Update in Pain Management 2002 28 & 29 September 2002 ANA Hotel Singapore 16 Nassim Hill Singapore 258467 Dear Colleagues I have great pleasure in inviting you to join us at the next Biennial Scientific Meeting of the Pain Association of Singapore to be held on 28-29 September 2002 at the ANA Hotel in Singapore. We have chosen as the theme, "Update in Pain Management 2002", and we hope that the programme will have something of interest to colleagues from all the different disciplines involved in pain management. The Pain Association of Singapore aspires to be an organization which brings together healthcare professionals to improve patient care, stimulate research and to bring awareness of pain management to both professionals and the public. This year for the first time, the Biennial Scientific Meeting is being organised in conjunction with two of our National Centres, the National Cancer Centre and the National Neuroscience Institute which have disciplines involved in pain management and research. We hope this collaboration will generate further interest and greater participation from staff of these institutes in the activities of the Association. The Biennial Scientific Meeting is also a forum for us to meet with colleagues practising in different countries of the region. Good pain management requires a multidisciplinary approach. We hope that this meeting will stimulate our intellect, enhance our networking and encourage us to work together towards the goal of better pain management for all our patients. Looking forward to seeing you at this meeting Dr Cynthia Goh President Pain Association of Singapore |
